About

This blog

As I noted in my first post, I decided to start a blog. It’s not focused on anything in particular, at least not yet. But I write in my head all the time and so it’s time to have a place to put it.

About the author

I’m ridiculously lateral-brained. I majored in computer science and minored in journalism, although I was only one course short of a double-major. I program, write, design sites, create graphics, do crafts, think about way too much stuff way too much of the time. Currently I’m focusing on iPhone software and writing for and tweaking this blog. I write in my head a lot, and it makes sense to put it into actually writing whenever possible. I could probably spend all day on the blog, but I have software projects that I’m working on and that I care about.

I have

  • 2 Maine Coons
  • 1 starling
  • 1 housemate (a long-ago former BF, but that’s a longer story)
  • a wonderful mother
  • a terrific brother
  • an 11 1/2 year old nephew whom I adore and in some sense is my soul-mate
  • a very few good friends
  • not enough people in my life

I also own a two-floor condo which is lovely and sunny, but doesn’t have enough walls for all of my books and other assorted things.

To learn more more than “just-the-facts, ma’m”, you’ll have to read the blog.
